Hochschule Schmalkalden - Angewandte Kunststofftechnik

The Applied Plastics Technology (AKT) under the dual leadership of Prof. Dr.-Ing. Thomas Seul and Prof. Dr.-Ing. Stefan Roth is part of the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering at the Hochschule Schmalkalden.

The AKT not only fulfills its existing mission within the framework of teaching to deepen the knowledge gained in the lectures, but also creates a (bidirectional) knowledge transfer between teaching and industry (science and business) through cooperation and partnerships with companies in the regional and national economy. The laboratory also supports industry as a service provider in R&D projects, analytics and consulting.
